Lightgarden
a warm embrace of a show
Lightgarden is a multi-disciplinary contemporary circus performance. Set within a teepee-like aerial rig transformed into a glowing tent, the show invites audiences to step from a dark forest into a world of warmth, wonder and possibility. Blending aerial acrobatics, shadow play, large-scale digital projections, live singing, somatic movement, breathwork and interactive storytelling, Lightgarden follows a fairytale journey where wishes are planted like seeds and nurtured to life.
The tent evokes the safety of a playhouse and the thrill of magical adventure, transforming throughout the performance to make the outside world melt away. Audiences become “gardeners,” gathering for imagination-fuelled tea, moments of quiet reflection and collective play.
Light flows into the villagers’ palms and from there, sip by sip, to their insides. They fall into the story. Through light and shadows, they too become storytellers. And the tent answers back.
Lightgarden is a poetic celebration of light and shadow, community and curiosity – a rare phenomenon that appears only when sought with open hearts.
